Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Mid-Level Diesel Technician in Front Royal, Virginia to maintain and repair heavy-duty vehicles. You will work on a second shift from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm with a strong benefits package including medical, dental, vision after 30 days and PTO from day one.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Technical or vocational certification preferred.
• Two years+ experience in mechanical repair preferred.
• CDL Class A preferred and must obtain CDL within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnoses mechanical/electronic problems using diagnostic computer when applicable.
• Identifies root cause and performs repairs as required.
• Replaces defective components as instructed.
