Job summary

Boss Shop in Elkton, MD is seeking a skilled Shop Diesel Mechanic/Technician to perform timely maintenance and repairs on diesel trucks. You will diagnose using J-Pro, FleetCross and OE software, complete work orders, and support on-call service duties as required.

Qualifications include Air Brake Certification and DOT Medical Card; ASE certifications are preferred. A growth path within a safety-conscious shop is offered along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Air Brake Certification required.
• DOT Medical Card required.
• ASE certifications preferred; Shop Technician IV must obtain within one year of promotion.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance, tire services, and emergency road service calls.
• Conducts DOT inspections and ensures compliance with regulations.
• Performs service calls including night/on-call assignments.
• Uses J-Pro, FleetCross and OE software to diagnose and repair vehicle systems.
• Completes work orders with labor, parts and warranty information.
• Performs engine, fuel, cooling, exhaust and drivetrain repairs as needed.
• Maintains shop cleanliness and safety.
• Provides friendly, professional customer service.
