Job summary

HOLT CAT in Cleburne, TX is seeking a Shop Service Technician 3 for heavy equipment. You will diagnose, repair and rebuild diesel-powered equipment, collaborate with a team, and ensure quality in every repair, while upholding company values.

A mid-to-senior level role with potential for leadership within the shop. Expect to leverage CAT ET/CAT SIS 2.0, read schematics, and perform maintenance on dozers, excavators, and related machinery.

Qualifications

• Four+ years of diesel-powered heavy equipment repair experience preferred.
• Ability to read/use schematics and diagrams experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Graduation from a diesel technology program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Model, promote, reinforce company values and leadership practices.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and failures.
• Disassemble and assemble machine components to manufacturer specifications.
• Rebuild, repair, maintain equipment and components.
• Communicate customer needs to shop management.
• Plan and control cost of repair jobs.
• Complete parts orders and identify parts for return.
• Mentor and train other technicians.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Complete all repair documentation timely.
• Work overtime as required by workload and customer needs.
• Stay updated with ProTech Technician Training Paths.
