Job summary

Sysco is seeking a skilled Fleet Technician in Kansas to perform preventive maintenance inspections and repairs on a variety of fleet vehicles and equipment. You will diagnose issues, service refrigeration units, engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and lift-gate hydraulics while adhering to safety standards.

You will document work orders, mentor junior technicians, and assist in maintaining uptime and reliability across the fleet.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDL preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform required inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
• Perform FAI/CVI inspections on all fleet vehicles per regulations.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform repairs per manufacturer specs.
• Document work performed on work orders and mentor junior technicians.
• Repair electrical, refrigeration, and lift-gate systems as needed.
