Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Sr Auto Maintenance Technician to perform advanced repairs and preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles. The role requires ASE certification, diesel and transmission expertise, and the ability to work independently or with a team.

Candidates should have at least 5+ years of vehicle service experience, a valid driver's license, and flexibility to work various shifts including nights and weekends. The position offers market hourly pay and potential incentive options.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record.
• 5+ years of vehicle service and repair experience; 1 year of customer service preferred.
• Must be able to work days, nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Maintain ASE status and adapt to fleet changes.
• Must have diesel and transmission experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles.
• Work with diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and document vehicle issues and parts needs.
• Coordinate with vendors for parts and repairs and maintain vehicle history records.
