Job summary

Cox Automotive Inc. is seeking a master technician to provide high-skill vehicle maintenance and repairs for our fleet operations in Iowa, Stuart Township.

The ideal candidate will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose complex issues, and maintain detailed vehicle records while working independently or in a team. The position requires at least 5 years of experience, ASE certification, diesel and transmission expertise, and flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of vehicle service and repair experience.
• ASE Certification: A1-8.
• Must have diesel and transmission experience.
• Valid Driver's License and safe driving record.
• Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ongoing training to maintain ASE status.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance: oil changes, filters, inspections.
• Repair and maintain diesel and heavy-truck systems.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical systems; upfit equipment as needed.
• Coordinate with vendors for parts and repairs; assist roadside as needed.
• Maintain vehicle history and comply with safety standards.
