Job summary

Jabil, a global engineering and manufacturing partner, seeks a Diagnostics specialist to maintain and improve the Diagnostic department's proficiency. You will diagnose and repair electronic circuit boards to component level, using advanced test equipment and detailed documentation.

You'll support Test Engineering with data analysis, ensure compliance with production rules, travel to client sites for complex issues, and assist in staffing and training to drive process yield and reliability.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistics.
• Ability to present information to managers, clients, and the public.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to operate Windows-based software and general PC skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, visuals, and memos.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair circuit board assemblies to component level.
• Use electronic test and measurement equipment proficiently.
• Understand documentation e.g. schematics, BOMs, EC docs, visuals.
• Assist Test Engineering with data evaluation for process improvement.
• Follow production rules, policies, and safety procedures.
• Interface with customers; travel to sites for advanced diagnostics.
• Suggest staffing levels and assist in technician recruitment.
• Train technicians on technical issues and best practices.
• Contribute to department yield goals and generate reports.
