Job summary

Jabil, a global engineering and manufacturing solutions company, is seeking a technician to verify testing, diagnose, and repair electronic circuit board assemblies. The role requires proficiency with test equipment, reading schematics and documentation, and collaborating with Test Engineering to improve diagnostic processes.

You will adhere to safety rules and company policies while supporting production goals and quality standards at our Kentucky facility.

Qualifications

• Must understand probability, statistics, geometry and trigonometry.
• Ability to present information clearly to managers, clients and customers.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
• Proficiency with Windows-based software and basic PC skills.
• Experience with Jabil software packages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair basic powered functional test failures on electronic circuit boards.
• Utilize electronic test and measurement equipment.
• Read and apply schematics, BOMs, EC documents, visuals, and testing procedures.
• Assist Test Engineering in data evaluation to improve diagnostics.
• Adhere to safety, health, and company policies.
• Collaborate with production to meet diagnostic yields.
