Job summary

Jabil is seeking an Electronics Diagnostic & Training Technician to verify, test, and diagnose electronic circuit board assemblies at component and board levels. You will lead structured training, hands-on coaching, and performance oversight to ensure diagnostic accuracy and adherence to quality standards.

The role collaborates with Test Engineering on data-driven improvements, analyzes failure trends, and develops corrective actions to boost yield and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to diagnose complex technical issues and develop data-driven solutions.
• Experience with electronic test and measurement equipment in a diagnostic/manufacturing setting.
• Ability to create and update training materials and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostic analysis of powered functional test failures at component and board levels.
• Execute verification testing and troubleshooting using standard electronic test equipment.
• Analyze schematics, EC notices, visual aids, and test procedures for diagnosis.
• Collaborate with Test Engineering to drive yield and diagnostic efficiency improvements.
• Monitor diagnostic performance, identify skill gaps, and plan retraining.
• Provide one-on-one coaching and ongoing training on failure modes and testing updates.
• Support ticketing/escalation processes and track resolution of technical issues.
• Plan and participate in DOE activities to optimize processes.
• Develop and maintain training documentation and work instructions.
