Job summary

Jabil, a global engineering and manufacturing solutions leader, seeks a technician to verify, diagnose, and repair electronic circuit board assemblies. You will work to resolve powered functional test failures and support production goals.

Responsibilities include using test equipment, reading schematics and BOMs, and collaborating with Test Engineering to improve diagnostic efficiency while adhering to safety and security policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to apply mathematical concepts and geometry
• Able to present information to managers, clients, customers, and the public
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions
• Proficient with Windows OS and related software
• Advanced PC skills, including company software
• Ability to read visuals and understand simple instructions
• Ability to follow standard procedures with minimal variables
• Ability to read simple instructions, memos, and short correspondence
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent; interpret graphs

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair basic powered functional test failures to a component level on electronic circuit board assemblies
• Exhibit proficiency with electronic test and measurement equipment
• Read and use Schematics, BOMs, EC documents, visuals, and testing tools
• Assist Test Engineering with data evaluation to improve diagnostic efficiency
• Follow production requirements, rules, policies and procedures
• Collaborate to achieve Diagnostic department yield goals
• Adhere to safety, health, and security policies
