Job summary

Jabil is seeking a skilled electronics test technician to verify, diagnose, and repair circuit board assemblies. You will diagnose and repair test failures, use advanced test equipment, and follow detailed engineering documentation.

This role requires collaboration with Test Engineering to improve diagnostic efficiency while adhering to safety and security policies. The position emphasizes hands-on troubleshooting, familiarity with schematics, BOMs, and EC documents, and a commitment to quality

Qualifications

• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistics.
• Ability to present information clearly to managers and customers.
• Ability to define problems, collect data and draw conclusions.
• Ability to operate a PC with Windows and related software.
• Advanced PC skills and familiarity with company software packages.
• Ability to read and understand schematics/visual aids.
• Ability to follow simple instructions and handle standard scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair basic powered functional test failures to component level on electronic circuit board assemblies.
• Proficient use of electronic test and measurement equipment.
• Work with assembly documentation such as schematics, BOMs, EC documents, visuals, and testing tools.
• Support Test Engineering with data evaluation to improve diagnostic efficiency.
• Understand and follow Jabil production requirements, policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with team to achieve diagnostic process yield goals.
• Follow safety, health, and security procedures and perform other duties as assigned.
