Job summary

Freeport-McMoRan, Inc. is recruiting for a highly skilled mechanical maintenance professional at the Henderson mine site in Colorado.

The role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance across pumps, conveyors, and related process equipment, with autonomy and a strong safety emphasis. The position requires 4 years of mechanical maintenance experience, welding skills, and the ability to work in a demanding, 24/7 operation.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years’ experience in mechanical/maintenance crafts or equivalent
• Candidate must demonstrate mechanical aptitude and pass any required written assessments
• FPM/Hem/SDHEM diagnostic qualifications or documented equivalents are preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine maintenance activities with increased complexity.
• Complete work orders, order parts, and document maintenance activities.
• Repair, install, fabricate, rebuild, troubleshoot and maintain pumps, conveyors, dryers, gearboxes, and related equipment.
• Follow safety rules and SOPs and assist in training other maintenance staff
