Job summary

Hex Technologies Inc. is seeking an experienced engineer to advance our developer tooling and internal platform. You’ll own end-to-end platform work—from monorepo build tooling and CI/CD to AI-enabled context and guardrails that help teams move quickly and safely.

You’ll partner with engineering teams to raise velocity, establish clear metrics, and ship reusable platform capabilities alongside robust documentation and self-service tooling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building developer productivity, build/release tooling or internal platforms.
• Deep build-systems and CI/CD expertise with reliable deployment workflows.
• Breadth across stack: backend through IaC, deployment and observability.
• Strong TypeScript/Node.js and SQL skills; Python is a plus.
• Experience with AI tooling and agent frameworks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the internal developer platform end-to-end: architecture, build, rollout, operation, and measurement.
• Invest in build and CI/CD: monorepo tooling, caching, CI pipelines, safe rollout mechanics.
• Build reproducible dev environments across teams and platforms.
• Raise org-wide velocity through metrics, dashboards, and cross-team collaboration.
• Develop the AI developer experience, including agent context and tool integration.
