Job summary

Sabre Systems Inc. seeks an experienced Computer Programmer III to support NIWC-PAC software delivery in San Diego. You will design, implement, and maintain secure pipelines across classification domains, with expertise in DevSecOps, containers, and DoD platforms.

You will work within Agile teams and align with DoD requirements, delivering production-ready software across Kubernetes, cloud, and virtualized environments while integrating CDS and security gates.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of demonstrated experience in software development utilizing Agile frameworks to design, develop, and deliver software capabilities to production environments.
• Minimum two (2) years of demonstrated experience applying DevSecOps principles in highly regulated government or DoD-mandated environments.
• Minimum Two (2) years of demonstrated experience coding, integrating, and maintaining resilient software architectures designed for challenging operational environments.
• Demonstrated coding experience in Python, Java, C, Go, or C++.
• Experience developing software for Denied, Disrupted, Intermittent, and Limited-bandwidth (DDIL) environments with offline-first architecture and data synchronization.
• Hands-on experience with afloat and ashore Platform as a Service environment (ACS, CHE, DoD PaaS).
• Experience integrating software securely with Cross-Domain Solutions and secure data transfer across security domains.
• Experience configuring automated security testing tools as gates within CI/CD pipelines and maintaining RMF/STIG compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure software delivery pipelines across multiple classification domains.
• Work with modern Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) to coordinate large-scale software delivery.
• Develop and integrate microservices, event-driven, and serverless architectures.
• Maintain Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines with code reviews and security gates.
• Deliver software end-to-end from design to production in DoD environments.
• Deploy to Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and virtualized environments.
• Ensure DoD cybersecurity requirements (RMF, STIGs) and CDS integration are met.
