Job summary

Sabre Systems, LLC in San Diego, CA seeks a Systems Engineer III to design, implement, and maintain secure software delivery pipelines across unclassified, secret, and top‑secret domains for NIWC‑PAC. The Application Arsenal platform enables OTA updates to naval edge systems, supporting mission‑critical software delivery worldwide.

You will work with Agile teams to integrate containerized architectures across ACS, CHE, OSA, and Five Eyes ecosystems, delivering interoperable solutions in DDIL

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum seven (7) years of full lifecycle software development experience across containerized, VM, and cloud architectures in multiple security domains using Agile.
• Minimum four (4) years applying DevSecOps, including automated security testing in CI/CD pipelines.
• Minimum three (3) years engineering interoperable software in DDIL, afloat/ashore PaaS, ACS, CHE, and Five Eyes interoperability.
• Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance (current and in-scope).

Responsibilities

• Engineer and maintain full lifecycle pipelines for containerized, VM, and cloud architectures.
• Implement and optimize DevSecOps automation across Unclassified, Secret, and Top-Secret domains.
• Configure automated security testing tools as quality gates within CI/CD pipelines.
• Design and troubleshoot interoperable software systems for DDIL environments.
• Support software delivery to afloat and ashore PaaS environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements and pipeline standards.
• Provide technical integration with allied partner systems and autonomous platforms.
