Job summary

Sabre Systems, LLC is seeking a Systems Engineer II to support naval software delivery for NIWC-PAC in San Diego. You will design, implement, and sustain secure delivery pipelines across classification domains, enabling OTA software delivery to tactical edge systems.

Responsibilities include architecture oversight, requirements traceability, and substantial hands-on deployment and automation using DevSecOps practices, with a focus on zero-downtime releases and DoD compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited college or university.
• 3+ years in systems engineering and continuous software sustainment with modern Agile methods.
• 2+ years in enterprise server administration across heterogeneous OS environments.
• DoD 8140 Intermediate proficiency requirements apply.

Responsibilities

• Architectural Oversight for defense applications and critical systems.
• Requirements traceability across requirements, design, implementation and verification.
• System integration in secure, multi-domain environments with defense standards.
• Production deployments with zero or near-zero downtime strategies and controlled change management.
• Continuous monitoring through SIEM/log aggregation and secure operations.
• DISA STIG compliance across managed systems and IA/RMF processes.
