Job summary

Sabre Systems, LLC is seeking an experienced Computer Programmer, III to support NIWC-PAC in San Diego, California. You will design, implement, and maintain secure software delivery pipelines across DoD classification domains, enabling OTA delivery for naval forces worldwide.

The role demands deep DevSecOps expertise, containerized architectures, and experience with afloat/ashore PaaS environments (ACS, CHE, OSA). On-site work with a rigorous, mission-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of software development using Agile to deliver production capabilities.
• At least two years applying DevSecOps in regulated government or DoD environments.
• Two+ years building resilient architectures for challenging environments.
• Proficient in Python, Java, C, Go, or C++, across multiple projects.
• Experience with DDIL environments, offline-first, data sync, and bandwidth optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure software delivery pipelines for multiple classification domains.
• Develop containerized solutions and modern DevSecOps practices for naval platforms.
• Contribute to DoD PaaS environments like ACS, CHE, and OSA across afloat and ashore contexts.
• Integrate security gates and automated vulnerability remediation into CI/CD workflows.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure compliant, verifiable software delivery from development to production.
