Job summary

Koniag Data Solutions, LLC is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to lead SBA DevSecOps initiatives in support of SBA's software delivery and security requirements in Washington, DC. You will design, implement, and mature CI/CD pipelines, security automation, and IaC practices across federal environments, guiding cross-functional teams of engineers, security, and operations.

The role emphasizes leadership, cloud-native tooling, and alignment with federal guidance to accelerate secure software

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with extensive relevant work experience.
• 7+ years in software or DevSecOps in federal or large enterprise environment.
• Expert-level CI/CD tooling and container orchestration experience.
• Certifications: CKA, AWS DevOps Engineer, or similar senior DevSecOps certs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical lead and SME for DevSecOps practices, pipelines, and culture at SBA.
• Lead design and implementation of SBA's CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps toolchain.
• Drive security integration across SDLC including SAST, DAST, SCA, and container security.
• Develop and implement SBA DevSecOps strategy, roadmap, and standards.
• Oversee IaC practices and automation for SBA infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Collaborate to enforce DevSecOps standards and quality gates in CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead evaluation and deployment of DevSecOps tools and platforms.
• Provide technical leadership for containerization and orchestration of SBA applications.
• Plan and execute cloud migration and modernization with DevSecOps principles.
• Maintain DevSecOps documentation and training materials.
• Collaborate with ISSO to ensure ATO readiness and automation of security testing.
