Job summary

Peraton seeks a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to lead DevSecOps and cloud transformation across a large AWS enterprise, spanning commercial and GovCloud. You will modernize software delivery with secure, automated pipelines and security baked in from the start.

The role emphasizes design of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and governance to enable self-service and rapid delivery while maintaining compliance and security in complex environments.

Qualifications

U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain/maintain Public Trust clearance.
12+ years of experience with AWS networking, security tooling, and databases.
Hands-on DevSecOps, security automation, and release management expertise.
Proven track record leading CI/CD toward progressive delivery.
Experience supporting FedRAMP, FISMA, or DoD-accredited cloud environments.

Responsibilities

Design and manage GitLab CI/CD pipelines with reusable templates and gates.
Automate SAST/DAST/SCA and secrets scanning with policy-based gates.
Operate OpenShift (ROSA) and AWS EKS across Commercial/GovCloud environments.
Implement GitOps and least-privilege IAM for cloud and cluster configs.
Lead security, compliance, and observability across pipelines and platforms.
