Job summary

Momentum Engineering, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior DevSecOps Engineer to support federal programs hosted on AWS GovCloud.

This hybrid role requires deep expertise in DevSecOps practices, cloud automation, security compliance, and CI/CD to enhance security, scalability, and efficiency of mission-critical applications. Responsibilities include designing secure GovCloud environments, building automated pipelines, enforcing federal cybersecurity frameworks, and automating IaC with

Qualifications

U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.
7+ years in DevSecOps, Cloud Engineering, or automation roles.
Strong expertise in AWS GovCloud security and compliance frameworks.
Experience with CI/CD toolchains and IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
Proficiency with containers, Kubernetes, and cloud-based orchestration.
Ability to implement automated security testing and SBOM management.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage secure AWS GovCloud environments for DoD and Civilian apps.
Develop CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments with security controls.
Enforce security baselines, STIGs, and compliance reporting across pipelines.
Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
Deploy containers with Docker and manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS/ECS/Fargate).
Monitor, log, and respond to incidents using CloudWatch, GuardDuty, Splunk/ELK.
