Job summary

Base-2 Solutions seeks a Sr. DevSecOps Engineer 5 in Reston, VA to design, implement, and maintain secure pipelines for classified environments. You will integrate security across the SDLC, build CI/CD from scratch in GitLab CI/CD and Jenkins, and ensure STIG compliance while guiding teams.

You will architect IaC with CloudFormation across AWS GovCloud, C2S, and TC2S, and mentor engineers in secure coding practices, incident response, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/SCI with CI Polygraph required.
• Experience delivering DevSecOps services across multiple classified domains.
• 5+ years in DevSecOps or similar role focusing on automation, scalability, reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated solutions across multiple classification environments.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines from scratch in GitLab CI/CD and Jenkins with security scanning and STIG validation.
• Provide guidance on pipeline troubleshooting and DevSecOps best practices.
• Create Infrastructure as Code templates (CloudFormation) for AWS GovCloud, C2S, TC2S.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis; secure coding practices and vulnerability remediation.
• Mentor junior engineers and maintain technical documentation.
