Job summary
Modern Government Solutions in Sterling, VA is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to design, implement, and sustain CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and DevSecOps workflows within secure cloud environments supporting national security missions.
The role requires active TS/SCI with CI Poly, 10+ years in DevSecOps, and hands-on experience with Python, GitLab/Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, and secure API governance, working in classified settings.
Qualifications
- Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance with CI Polygraph.
- DoD 8140 requirements, including Security+ CE.
- Bachelor's degree in CS, SE, IT, or related STEM.
- 10+ years in DevSecOps, CI/CD, test automation, and cloud integration.
- Experience with Python, PowerShell, Groovy, REST APIs, GitLab, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Rancher.
- Experience supporting API gateways, IdAM, and enterprise security in classified environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and DevSecOps processes.
- Support cloud-based architectures, containerized platforms, automated testing, and RCA across enterprise environments.
- Collaborate with engineering and cybersecurity teams in a Scaled Agile Framework environment.
