Job summary

Claritas Rx is seeking a hands-on DevSecOps engineer to protect our AWS-hosted SaaS platform, aligning with HIPAA, SOC 2 II, and HITRUST requirements. You will own security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, and compliance activities, partnering across SRE and Software Engineering to embed security into the SDLC.

The role is primarily remote with occasional travel, offering a high-impact, builder mindset opportunities in a fast-paced digital health environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in information security or cloud security with hands‑on ownership.
• Strong AWS security expertise (IAM, KMS, VPC, WAF).
• Experience with vulnerability management, scanning, and remediation.
• Proficient in Python, Bash scripting for automation.

Responsibilities

• Own security monitoring and incident response across the AWS-hosted platform.
• Implement and maintain security controls and IAM/SCPs across AWS.
• Lead vulnerability management lifecycle and integrate scanning into CI/CD.
• Support HIPAA, SOC 2 Type II, HITRUST compliance efforts.
• Collaborate with SRE and Engineering to embed security in SDLC.
