Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to architect, secure, and scale its cloud infrastructure. You will own core infrastructure, ensuring reliability, high availability, and HIPAA-compliant handling of EHR data.

You will work with HashiCorp Vault, Nomad, Terraform on Linode, building robust CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and securing network connectivity via VPNs and IPSEC tunnels.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing HIPAA compliance across infrastructure.
• Knowledge of EHR data handling, PHI, and healthcare security boundaries.
• Proven ability to design secure, scalable cloud architectures for sensitive data.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling.
• Familiarity with VPNs, IPSEC tunnels, and secure file exchange (SFTP).

Responsibilities

• Architect, secure, and scale cloud infrastructure.
• Implement and maintain HIPAA compliance across systems.
• Manage HashiCorp Vault for secrets and encryption as a service.
• Design network architectures including IPSEC tunnels and secure VPNs.
• Build CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for deployments.
• Administer Linux servers and perform performance tuning.
• Participate in monitoring, alerting, backups, and disaster recovery.
