Job summary

GDIT is seeking a Lead DevSecOps Systems Engineer to own and evolve cloud infrastructure for federal programs. You will design secure CI/CD pipelines and IaC, leveraging Terraform, Kubernetes, and modern tooling to support development teams.

You will mentor engineers, drive security integration in automated workflows, and work with AWS Bedrock and AI-enabled tooling to accelerate delivery while maintaining rigorous governance and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience architecting scalable AWS Cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI workflows and AWS Bedrock.

Responsibilities

• Architect and scale robust CI/CD pipelines across deployments.
• Partner with development teams to integrate security tools within workflows.
• Define guidelines for AWS Cloud and Kubernetes environments.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote DevSecOps culture.
• Leverage Generative AI tools to accelerate IaC and pipelines.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost, security, and governance.
• Prepare comprehensive technical documentation and processes.
