Job summary

TCG is seeking an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to design, develop, and implement secure cloud solutions for a government client. The role is primarily remote with occasional on-site work and requires U.S.

citizenship and ability to pass a clearance background investigation. The ideal candidate will manage CI/CD pipelines in AWS with GitLab, deploy containers via Kubernetes and Docker, and implement security controls across the lifecycle, including SAST/DAST integrations and vulnerability

Qualifications

• Five plus years of experience in DevSecOps engineering.
• At least 3+ years managing and maintaining AWS ecosystems.
• Experience deploying containerized apps with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience designing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Hands-on with SAST/DAST tools and vulnerability management.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in AWS with GitLab.
• Manage and deploy containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker in AWS.
• Configure and maintain AWS environments with baselines and security policies.
• Implement security practices across the lifecycle, including vulnerability management.
• Integrate SAST/DAST tools like Sonarqube and Invicti into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Ensure security for containers in Kubernetes and AWS.
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve vulnerabilities and track resolutions.
• Automate deployment/configuration with Ansible.
• Maintain monitoring/logging via Splunk or ELK Stack.
• Support platform operations including updates and maintenance of AWS infrastructure.
• Review cloud architecture for scalability improvements.
