Job summary

Iron EagleX, a GDIT subsidiary, seeks a senior Platform Engineer Sr Principal to lead architecture, DevOps, and DevSecOps for secure, scalable cloud-native platforms. You will direct Kubernetes platforms, Terraform-driven IaC, and CI/CD pipelines while collaborating with government stakeholders to modernize enterprise capabilities.

The role requires TS/SCI readiness, extensive AWS/Kubernetes expertise, and strong leadership to drive secure, reliable software delivery across programs.

Qualifications

• Ten+ years of progressive experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, Platform Eng, or cloud environments.
• Five+ years designing and deploying secure, cloud-native solutions in AWS.
• Two+ years of software development experience, preferably supporting production or customer-facing systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical authority for Platform Engineering, DevOps, and DevSecOps architecture across multiple projects.
• Lead design, implementation, modernization, and continuous improvement of cloud-native platforms.
• Design and operate enterprise Kubernetes platforms supporting multiple applications and environments.
• Architect secure AWS solutions focusing on networking, routing, load balancing, identity management, and zero-trust.
