Job summary

Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking an Edifecs DevSecOps Engineer to advance cloud migration and DevSecOps practices for VA environments. The role focuses on designing cloud architectures, implementing CI/CD automation, and ensuring security governance across multi-account AWS setups.

Qualified candidates have 8+ years in cloud engineering with AWS, strong scripting and IaC skills, and familiarity with Edifecs EDI workflows.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering with AWS.
• Experience designing, deploying, and managing AWS infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of IAM, WAF, Shield, and other AWS security services.
• Experience with multi-account AWS environments and cost management.

Responsibilities

• Lead migration to cloud and design cloud diagrams for architecture.
• Develop and operate CI/CD automation for VA environments.
• Manage permissions and security for cloud applications and data.
• Provide cloud security guidance and documentation for deployments.
