Syms Strategic Group, LLC is seeking an Edifecs DevSecOps Engineer to advance cloud-native security, automation, and scalable infrastructure for VA environments in a 100% remote role.

You will design, deploy, and maintain AWS-based architectures, implement CI/CD pipelines, manage multi-account configurations, and ensure compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, and PCI DSS while mentoring teammates.

Qualifications

• Proven track record designing deploying and managing AWS infrastructure.
• Experience with large-scale, high-availability cloud architecture.
• Expertise in core AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch.
• Experience with AWS security practices including AWS WAF and Shield.
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or NodeJS for automation.
• Experience with IaC tools: CloudFormation, Terraform, CDK.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tooling and securing pipelines.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, GDPR, and PCI DSS compliance frameworks.

Responsabilités

• Spearhead migration to the cloud and modernize CI/CD pipelines.
• Create data flow diagrams, cloud diagrams, and high-level architectures.
• Design deploy and operate automation technologies for CI/CD.
• Manage permissions in cloud providers for each app storage and service.
• Implement monitor and ensure performance and policy compliance.
• Provide cloud support for VAEC environments in AWS GovCloud.
• Adopt a DevOps mindset and CI/CD tooling best practices.
• Design VAEC/cloud-hosted solutions and address readiness gaps.
