Job summary

KPMG LLP is seeking a Senior Specialist to join its Federal Advisory practice in Washington, DC. The role emphasizes building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and platform reliability within a federal context.

You will collaborate across DevOps, security, and engineering teams to support secure, scalable cloud environments using AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and other modern tooling. A Bachelor’s degree and at least three years of relevant experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or infra automation.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tooling and version control workflows (Git, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Strong Linux/Unix experience and AWS services.
• Familiarity with Docker, ECS, and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deploy.
• Manage infrastructure as code and environment configuration across dev, test, prod.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for platform reliability.
• Support security hardening and remediation with the ATO workstream.
