Job summary

KPMG LLP is seeking a Senior Specialist to join our Federal Advisory practice in the United States. The role focuses on building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing infrastructure as code, and ensuring platform reliability while supporting security hardening efforts.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in DevOps or platform engineering, strong AWS/Linux experience, and familiar with Docker/Kubernetes. Travel is required and U.S. Government clearance eligibility is necessary.

Qualifications

• Three years of DevOps/platform engineering/infrastructure automation experience.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tooling and version control workflows (Git, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Strong experience with Linux/Unix environments and AWS services.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, ECS, Kubernetes).
• Ability to travel as required to support firm engagements.
• Applicant must possess or be eligible for a U.S. Government clearance.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting automated build, test, and deployment.
• Manage infrastructure as code and environment configuration across development, test, and production.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to support platform reliability.
• Support security hardening and remediation activities in coordination with the ATO workstream.
