KPMG LLP is seeking a Senior Specialist to join our Federal Advisory practice in Washington, DC. You will architect and prototype cloud architectures, implement infrastructure as code, and work with cross‑functional teams to deliver cloud and DevOps solutions.

Requirements include 3+ years of cloud engineering experience, a Bachelor's degree, hands‑on work with Azure/AWS/GCP IaC, Kubernetes/OpenShift/Docker, and familiarity with Terraform/Ansible/Chef/Puppet. Ability to travel and U.S.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of technical Cloud Engineering experience, with U.S. Federal government consulting preferred.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
• Experience designing cloud architectures and implementing production infrastructures using Azure, AWS, or GCP with IaC.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly architect, design, prototype, implement, and optimize cloud architectures.
• Develop cloud platforms/applications utilizing infrastructure as code methodologies to solve real-world problems following best industry practices.
• Work in cross-disciplinary teams with industry professionals to understand client needs and develop holistic cloud solutions and DevOps capabilities.
• Research, experiment, and utilize leading cloud methodologies/tools for increased productivity, security, reliability, and performance.
• Progress tools/services in cloud DevOps environments such as monitoring, deployment, CI/CD, and cloud resource creation scripts.
• Contribute to business requirements capture, hypothesis-driven consulting, project management, and client relationship development.
