Job summary

KPMG LLP is seeking a Senior Specialist to join our Federal Advisory practice. You will rapidly architect, design, prototype, implement, and optimize cloud architectures, and develop cloud platforms using infrastructure as code.

You will collaborate with industry professionals to translate client needs into production infrastructures on Azure, AWS, or GCP, leveraging Kubernetes, OpenShift, or Docker, and contributing to DevOps, monitoring, and security best practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of technical cloud engineering experience, with federal government consulting preferred.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
• Experience designing cloud architectures and implementing production infrastructures on Azure, AWS, or GCP using infrastructure as code.
• Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, or Docker; Terraform/Ansible/Chef/Puppet preferred.
• Ability to travel as required to support firm engagements; eligible for U.S. government clearance.
• Unix/Linux proficiency and familiarity with Git/SVN for source control.

• Contribute to business requirements capture / translation, hypothesis-driven consulting, workstream / project management, and client relationship development

• Experience developing data analytics platforms / applications on cloud is preferred
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux environments and ability to develop in terminal environments; experience with source code management systems like GIT / SVN
• Ability to travel as required to support firm engagements
