Job summary

Jitsu, Inc. seeks a senior DevOps/Platform Engineer to evolve our platform infrastructure and empower the engineering team to ship continuously.

You will lead CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and cloud operations, primarily on Google Cloud Platform, with a focus on reliability, security, and scalable architecture. You will guide the team on deployments, monitoring, and cost optimization while mentoring engineers and shaping our DevOps culture.

Qualifications

• CI/CD end-to-end pipeline design including git-based source control, build/test automation, and deployment patterns.
• Terraform-based IaC with multi-environment management.
• GitOps workflow with ArgoCD as source of truth for deployments.
• Cloud infrastructure at scale on GCP (compute, VPC, storage, queues, serverless, DNS, IAM).
• Kubernetes production experience: cluster lifecycle, autoscaling, networking, ingress, troubleshooting.
• Helm charts for templated deployments across environments.
• Databases at scale: PostgreSQL/CloudSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis; replication, backups, scaling.
• Reliability-focused: SLIs/SLOs, monitoring, incident response, post-mortems.
• Security fundamentals: IAM, secrets, network policies, supply-chain hygiene.
• Bonus: Java release engineering.

• Drive CI/CD and release process improvements across the pipeline.
• Improve infrastructure configuration, management, and cost efficiency.
• Enhance monitoring and observability for availability and performance.
• Collaborate on architecture changes for maintainability and scalability.
• Serve as a technical lead for development and operations practices.
• Strengthen security posture across cloud and infrastructure.
