Job summary

Jitsu, Inc. is seeking a Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer to evolve our infrastructure and tooling for a high-velocity engineering team.

You will own critical DevOps areas, driving end-to-end CI/CD, IaC, and GitOps across environments, including production at scale. The role emphasizes building highly available systems, efficient release processes, and collaboration with technical leaders to improve security, resilience, and performance.

Qualifications

• Deep experience with CI/CD pipelines and release automation.
• Terraform or similar IaC with multi-environment management.
• GitOps workflow with declarative deployments (ArgoCD or similar).
• Cloud infrastructure at scale on GCP or similar.
• Kubernetes production operations and autoscaling.
• Helm chart authoring and maintenance.
• Relational/NoSQL databases at scale and performance tuning.
• Security fundamentals: IAM, secrets management, network policy.

Responsibilities

• Own key parts of the DevOps effort for a global engineering team and platform supporting millions of transactions per day.
• Drive improvements in development process, tooling, and deployment pipelines.
• Enhance infrastructure configuration, management, and cost efficiency.
• Improve monitoring and observability for availability and performance.
• Collaborate to improve architecture maintainability, scalability, and resilience.
• Lead software and DevOps engineers on best practices and processes.
• Strengthen information security posture with leadership across teams.
• Contribute to team development and operations standards.
