Jitsu, Inc. in Cleveland, OH seeks a Senior DevOps/Platform Engineer to evolve our cloud infrastructure and release pipelines. You will lead CI/CD, IaC, GitOps, and Kubernetes operations, driving reliability, security, and scalable architecture for a high-volume logistics platform.

The role emphasizes collaboration with tech leaders, implementing monitoring, cost efficiency, and secure practices while shaping the stack and engineering standards.

Qualifications

• Deep experience designing automated pipelines end to end (CI/CD).
• Terraform or similar IaC with multi-environment infra.
• GitOps workflows with ArgoCD as source of truth.
• Cloud infra at scale (GCP preferred): compute, networking, storage, queues, serverless.
• Kubernetes production operations: upgrades, autoscaling, networking.
• Helm charts for templated deployments across environments.
• Manage databases: PostgreSQL/CloudSQL, MongoDB, Redis.
• Reliability: SLIs/SLOs, alerting, incident response, post-mortems.
• Security: IAM, secrets, network policy, supply-chain hygiene.
• Java release engineering is a bonus

Responsibilities

• Own DevOps for a global engineering team and platform handling millions of transactions daily.
• Improve development process and tooling: source control, build, test, packaging, release, deployment.
• Improve infrastructure configuration, management, and cost efficiency.
• Enhance monitoring and observability for availability and performance.
• Collaborate to improve architecture maintainability, scalability, resilience.
• Lead software and DevOps engineers on development and operations practices.
• Strengthen information security posture with architectural input.
• Contribute to team standards and processes.
