Job summary

Ryan is seeking a senior DevOps Engineer to design and build a fully automated CI/CD ecosystem and an Internal Developer Portal across AWS, Azure, and on‑prem environments. You will enable self-service infrastructure, standardized deployment workflows, and platform capabilities for faster software delivery.

The role emphasizes automation, security, and scalable cloud networking, with collaboration across engineering, security, and operations to improve reliability and speed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering, DevOps, cloud or platform engineering.
• Progression from software development to cloud infrastructure and automation.
• 6+ years with CI/CD tools (Harness, Jenkins, Azure DevOps) and modern delivery.
• Deep Java and/or Node.js development experience.
• Hands-on AWS and/or Azure, including networking and serverless.
• Terraform and IaC expertise; scalable cloud-native design.
• Windows Server and SQL Server knowledge; security-minded delivery.
• Scripting in Python/PowerShell/Bash; Git and DevSecOps familiarity.
• Docker and Kubernetes experience; tooling for automation and pipelines.
• Proven ability to evaluate new tools and lead POCs with cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Champion an automation-first DevOps culture and collaboration.
• Partner with development teams to improve reliability and deployment.
• Architect and implement an Internal Developer Portal (IDP).
• Integrate IDP with CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, IAM and observability.
• Maintain service catalogs, docs, and ownership metadata.
• Design and maintain fully automated CI/CD pipelines for Java, .NET, Node.js.
• Build deployment workflows across AWS and Azure; implement tests and security gates.
• Develop reusable pipeline templates and shared libraries.
• Design secure, scalable cloud infrastructure using IaC.
