Job summary

Jitsu, Inc. in Columbus, Ohio, seeks a Senior DevOps/Platform Engineer to evolve our platform infrastructure and tooling, enabling a high-velocity engineering team to ship reliably.

You will lead CI/CD, IaC, and GitOps efforts, optimize cloud and Kubernetes operations, and drive security and reliability across production systems. The role emphasizes ownership of large-scale deployments, collaboration with platform and software engineers, and shaping our observability and incident response

Qualifications

• CI/CD pipelines design and release automation.
• Terraform-based IaC across staging, beta, and production environments.
• GitOps workflow with ArgoCD as source of truth for deployments.
• Experience building and operating cloud infrastructure at scale (GCP).
• Kubernetes production operations, autoscaling, networking, and upgrades.
• Helm charts for templated, repeatable deployments across environments.
• Database infra experience: PostgreSQL/CloudSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis.
• Reliability: SLIs/SLOs, alerting, incident response, blameless post-mortems.
• Security: IAM, secrets management, network policy.

Responsibilities

• Own key parts of DevOps effort for a global engineering team and a platform handling millions of transactions daily.
• Drive improvements in build/test/packaging/release/deployment processes.
• Improve infrastructure configuration, cost efficiency, and observability.
• Collaborate with tech leaders to improve architecture maintainability, scalability, and resilience.
• Provide technical leadership to software and DevOps engineers on best practices.
• Enhance information security posture with cross-team alignment.
• Contribute to team development and operations standards and processes.
