Job summary

Ryan is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design and implement a fully automated CI/CD ecosystem, IDP, and secure cloud networking across AWS, Azure, and on-prem environments. You will blend software development with cloud infrastructure to accelerate software delivery and reliability across engineering teams.

The role emphasizes platform engineering, self-service tooling, and scalable network architecture, with a focus on automation, testing, and security within pipelines.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, DevOps, cloud engineering, or platform engineering.
• Evolution from software development into cloud infrastructure and automation.
• 6+ years using CI/CD tools (Harness, CloudBees, Jenkins, Azure DevOps) and modern delivery practices.
• Deep development expertise in Java and/or Node.js environments.
• Strong hands-on AWS and/or Azure knowledge, including networking and serverless.
• Advanced Terraform and infrastructure-as-code proficiency.
• Experience designing scalable cloud-native architectures.
• Strong scripting with Python, PowerShell, Bash.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and DevSecOps practices.
• Excellent collaboration and cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Champion an automation-first DevOps culture with collaboration and transparency.
• Partner with development teams to improve reliability, performance, and deployment practices.
• Architect and implement an Internal Developer Portal for self-service infrastructure and templates.
• Design, implement, and maintain fully automated CI/CD pipelines for Java, .NET, and Node.js.
• Build standardized deployment workflows across AWS and/or Azure environments.
• Implement automated testing, security scanning, and quality gates within pipelines.
• Design reusable templates and shared libraries to enforce best practices.
• Design cloud infrastructure in AWS/Azure using Terraform and governance via policy-as-code.
• Lead proof-of-concept initiatives for new tools and automation processes.
• Ensure monitoring, observability, and SecOps alignment across platforms.
