Job summary

MetLife is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps / MLOps Engineer to join our Data Platforms group in the US. You will design and implement scalable DevOps and MLOps practices within MetLife's cloud environment, collaborating with engineering, cloud platform, and data science teams to deliver secure, automated deployment solutions.

The role emphasizes platform engineering, automation, and governance adherence, with a hybrid office model and compensation plans that may include incentives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 7-10 years of experience in cloud/infra engineering.
• 3+ years hands-on DevOps, cloud engineering, or MLOps.
• Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Experience supporting cloud-native solutions in Microsoft Azure.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, and ARM templates.
• Implement and support Azure Machine Learning deployment pipelines and lifecycle processes.
• Collaborate with platform engineering to enhance cloud development and deployment capabilities.
• Contribute to reusable automation components, deployment templates, and standards.
• Support DevSecOps practices including vulnerability scanning and secret management.
• Implement monitoring with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• Troubleshoot complex platform, deployment, and automation issues.
• Support AKS deployment and cloud-native technologies; participate in Agile ceremonies.
