MetLife’s Global Technology team seeks a Senior Software/Platform Engineer to shape the modernization of treasury platforms. You’ll own design, build, and scale enterprise services on Azure, with AKS, Istio, and microservices at the core.

You’ll lead troubleshooting, performance optimization, and security for mission-critical systems supporting financial operations. You will collaborate within an Agile team, contribute to architecture, and drive reliable, scalable solutions that align with

Qualifications

• 5+ years in enterprise software development with .NET/C# and RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on Azure cloud infrastructure and AKS experience; service bus and monitoring.
• Containerization with Docker and Istio service mesh familiarity.
• Experience troubleshooting distributed systems and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using .NET/C# and REST APIs.
• Lead cloud-native microservices on AKS; implement Istio for traffic and security.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues across distributed systems and cloud infra.
• Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum team to deliver resilient treasury platforms.
