Job summary

New York Life Insurance Company is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design and optimize secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will collaborate with software, security, and data science teams to improve reliability and accelerate deployments, including AI/ML workloads.

Candidates should bring deep cloud, IaC, container orchestration, and DevSecOps expertise, plus automation, monitoring, and strong cross-team communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in DevOps/SRE or cloud engineering for enterprise apps.
• Strong AWS experience with EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, and related services.
• IaC with Terraform; containerization with Docker and Kubernetes; modern CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure CI/CD pipelines using Harness and related tools.
• Build and maintain Terraform-based cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Develop container platforms with Docker/Kubernetes (EKS) for high availability.
• Implement observability using New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana and automation scripts.
