Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer for a remote-friendly contract role. Lead design and operation of cloud infrastructure using AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes, focusing on reliability, security, and observability.

You will drive deployment flows, automate platforms, and ensure scalable, maintainable systems across environments. The role emphasizes AI-assisted engineering workflows, strong collaboration with development teams, and autonomous decision-making in ambiguous situations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in DevOps, platform engineering, or related roles.
• Strong AWS experience (EC2, S3, EKS, ECR, Route 53, IAM).
• Kubernetes expertise including cluster ops, autoscaling, networking, RBAC, security.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate cloud infra with AWS & Terraform.
• Own EKS/Kubernetes platform operations and cost optimization.
• Develop deployment workflows with Helm, GitLab CI/CD and GitOps tools.
