Job summary

Bluesight is seeking an experienced infrastructure engineer to shape and grow our platform foundations. You will own infra tooling, automation, and drive DevOps strategy across development, testing, and production environments.

You’ll lead technical design, mentor engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, cost-conscious, fault-tolerant systems on AWS. Fully remote opportunity with a strong emphasis on observability and security.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in developer CI/CD tooling, site reliability or infrastructure engineering.
• Strong AWS experience and IaC using CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Experience with observability tools (Datadog, Honeycomb or New Relic).
• Ability to scope, estimate technical work and manage scope creep.
• Mentor engineers and lead technical design discussions.

Responsibilities

• Own scoping and estimation for infra projects and track timelines.
• Set technical direction for infra decisions and DevOps strategy.
• Develop and improve CI/CD tooling, automation and tooling.
• Participate in on-call rotations and assist on-call teams with diagnostics.
• Improve security and compliance controls (SOC2, HIPAA, HiTRUST).
• Mentor team members and drive cost-efficient, scalable architectures.
