Job summary

Bluesight is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to shape and grow our platform foundations. You will own tooling, automation, and the devops experience across CI/CD, observability and cloud infrastructure, primarily AWS. You’ll lead architectural decisions, mentor teammates, and drive cost-efficient, scalable, fault-tolerant systems.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in developer CI/CD tooling, site reliability, or infrastructure engineering roles.
• Track record of leading technical design and architecture.
• Able to communicate trade-offs to engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to design scalable, cost-conscious fault-tolerant systems.
• Experience mentoring engineers or leading teams.
• Ability to work through ambiguity with asynchronous communication and autonomy.
• Experience scoping/estimating technical work and managing scope creep.
• Proficiency with Python, Java, or Ruby.
• Strong experience with AWS and production observability.
• Linux system administration expertise.

Responsibilities

• Actively identify, plan and implement developer tooling and automation.
• Participate in on-call rotations and assist on-call teams with diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Set technical direction for infrastructure decisions and contribute to DevOps strategy.
• Own scoping and estimation for infra projects and track timelines.
• Mentor team members and drive engineering best practices.
