Job summary

Net Health, a leading healthcare SaaS provider, seeks a senior hands-on DevOps Engineer to build secure, scalable AWS foundations and delivery pipelines. You will own infrastructure as code, shape CI/CD, and collaborate with Security, App Dev, and SRE to scale the platform end-to-end.

In this role you’ll optimize databases, manage cost and performance, and drive reliable deployments with guardrails while mentoring teammates and contributing to architecture standards at Net Health.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on AWS experience (ECS, RDS, ALB, VPC, CloudWatch, Lambda, Amplify)
• Infrastructure-as-code with AWS CDK or CloudFormation
• CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar
• Windows Server + PowerShell automation; Linux/Bash proficiency
• Strong networking fundamentals (routing, DNS, load balancing, VPC)
• Experience scaling containerized services and autoscaling
• Deep MySQL and PostgreSQL performance tuning
• Documentation of infrastructure for team knowledge-sharing
• Knowledge of event-driven/messaging patterns
• TypeScript is a nice-to-have

Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership & Collaboration: mentor teammates and translate requirements into practical designs
• Design and implement AWS architectures (ECS, VPC, API Gateway, Lambda, etc.) for highly available apps
• Engineer resilient backends with proper networking, backup, and disaster recovery
• Implement IAM-based security, secrets management, and environment isolation across dev/test/stage/prod
• Define and maintain CI/CD pipelines; codify infrastructure with IaC and automated plan/apply
• Cost & Performance: right-size compute/storage and publish cost dashboards
• Observability & Security: improve monitoring and enforce guardrails
• Documentation & Knowledge Management: maintain architecture diagrams and runbooks
