Job summary

L2T, LLC in Herndon, VA is seeking an experienced DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer to design and automate provisioning of hosts, enforce system state as code, and build robust CI/CD pipelines across environments.

You will automate workflows, manage identity services, and secure containerized workloads while collaborating on architecture standards and runbooks. Top Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in systems, infrastructure or DevOps engineering.
• Experience applying DevOps practices and infrastructure as code.
• Hands-on Linux administration in enterprise environments.
• Strong scripting in Python and shell; able to automate tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provision, design and automate provisioning of physical and virtual hosts from network boot to a compliant system.
• Define system state as code and enforce it across environments to remove drift.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to test, package and deploy application and infrastructure code.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks with auditable tooling.
• Operate centralized identity services including LDAP, Kerberos, PKI and access policy.
• Build, secure and run containerized workloads with registries and runtime management.
• Manage internal distribution of software and artifacts across sites.
• Apply hardening baselines and access controls; support audit and compliance.
• Participate in incident response and root-cause analysis to fix underlying causes.
• Contribute to architecture standards and document runbooks and design notes.
