Job summary

LILT is seeking a world-class DevOps Engineer to fortify our infrastructure across development and production environments. You will deploy and optimize multi-region Linux systems, using Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform, with a focus on low-latency, secure operations.

Washington, DC-based hub with a mix of remote and on-site engagement. The role requires an active TS/SCI security clearance, strong scripting skills (Python/Bash), and experience with GCP.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph is required.
• 3+ years experience as Linux System Administrator, DevOps Engineer, or similar.
• Strong Docker and Kubernetes experience.
• Scripting proficiency in Python or Bash.
• IaC experience with Terraform or similar tools.
• GCP services experience (Compute Engine, shared VPC, data analytics).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions).
• U.S. citizenship is a precondition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Support technical operations in development and production systems.
• Deliver infrastructure engineering projects to support company initiatives.
• Collaborate with R&D teams to deliver software quickly and reliably.
• Secure platform infrastructure and harden on-premise builds.
• Define, measure, and meet SLIs/SLOs for SLAs with engineering teams.
• Execute roadmap items in sprints following SCRUM practices.
• Introduce new technologies and best practices in DevOps and site reliability.
• Support on-site with self-managed customers.
