Peak to Creek Staffing is seeking a DevOps Engineer for securing and modernizing cloud infrastructure supporting government operations in Virginia. The role targets mid-level to senior professionals with Linux, AWS, CI/CD, and Python experience.

You will enhance automation, security, and software delivery while aligning with strict security protocols. The position requires an active TS clearance, ability to obtain SCI access, willingness to undergo a CI polygraph, and US citizenship.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional experience in DevOps, systems engineering, cloud engineering or related field.
• Recent hands-on Python experience is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain SCI access and CI polygraph.
• Experience with AWS architecture and cloud infrastructure.
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with automation and infrastructure management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance infrastructure through updates and troubleshooting.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines for reliable software delivery.
• Develop Python scripts and automation supporting infrastructure.
• Support AWS architecture and cloud environments.
• Administer, troubleshoot, and optimize Linux systems.
• Integrate new capabilities into existing environments.
• Resolve complex deployment issues and improve performance.
• Contribute to security hardening and vulnerability remediation.
• Support security assessments and ATO preparation.
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams.
• Maintain technical documentation and procedures.
