General Dynamics IT seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to deliver simple solutions to complex problems for our intel clients. You will bridge development and operations, implementing automated CI/CD, IaC, and security practices across OpenShift and AWS environments.

Responsibilities include building and deploying across Dev, Staging, and Operations, enhancing observability, and guiding architectural decisions for scalable, secure systems.

Competenze

• 6+ years of related experience in DevOps or IT infrastructure
• Proficiency with Linux operating systems
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab, Jenkins, CircleCI, or similar)
• Knowledge of OIDC/OAuth/Auth2 or zero-trust identity implementations
• Experience with ArgoCD and GitOps style operations management
• Experience with web server management (DNS, certificate management)
• Knowledge of HTTP API design standards and best practices
• Ability to manage networking for web applications (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing)
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and OpenShift, with knowledge of AWS
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, AWS CDK, etc.)
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and security for containers
• Experience deploying and managing databases via SQL/ORMs
• Comfortable writing Python and Bash for tooling
• Ability to contribute code updates to repositories
• Experience designing complex enterprise solutions in classified environments
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
